Facts:
1.
Aristotle's parents both died at the age of 13 and Atarneus
became his guardian. A few years before he was sent to Plato's academy in
Athens, Proxenus educated Aristoteles.
2.
He lived in Asia Minor, Atarneus. Aristotle stayed in Athens
around 348/47 BC for about twenty years until he left. In Athens at that time
he may have feared the anti-Macedonian feelings and left before Plato died.
3.
Aristotle then went to the court in Asia
Minor after Plato's death, accompanied by Xenocrates, of his friend Hermias of
Atarneus. Aristotle and his pupil, Theophrastus, travelled to Lesbos Island
with him after the death of Hermias, and together they investigated the
vegetation and fauna of this island and its sheltered lagoon.
4.
Aristotle was the man ahead of his time. He
had new ideas about how the world may be studied. He used to comment on the
world in depth and chronicled what he saw. He began to dissect them, which is a
novel procedure, in his attempt to understand more about the anatomy of
animals. In the past, Greek philosopher and teachers were all concerned about
their work.
5.
Aristotle married Pythias and had a
daughter whom he named also Pythias. Aristotle fell in love with Herpyllis
after the untimely demise of his first wife. Herpyllis had been Pythias'
previous slave. A kid he named Nicomachus went on to give him his new wife.
6.
Aristotle's synthesis on the individual, family and societal
level of his quest for the nature of human beings known as the Nicomachean
Ethics was a commitment to his son. In the very young age of battle his son,
Nicomachus, perished and he was recollected.
Achievements:
1.
A philosophical school known as Lyceum was established by
Aristotle in 335 B. C. The Peripathetic School was famed for it. The school
lectures were split into sections at morning and afternoon. The Lyceum also
included a collection of manuscripts that included one of the first major
libraries in the world.
2.
Not only did he study nearly all topics, he
made significant contributions to many of them. Aristotle has studied and
written under the academic fields of astronomy, anatomy, embryology, geology,
geography, weather, zoology and physics. Under philosophy, he wrote on ethics,
aesthetics, government, politics, metaphysics, economics, rhetoric, psychology,
and theology. He also studied literature, poetry, and different countries'
customs in addition to all of the above.
3.
He has also carried out biology studies. The
animals were grouped into blood-based species. Red blood animals have largely
been vertebrate and bloodless animals have been referred to as 'cephalopods.'
In this hypothesis there was a relative inexactitude yet for many years it was
considered the mainstream system.
4.
He studied
marine biodiversity carefully. He studied dissection of the anatomy of marine
beings. Interestingly, his findings on marine life were extremely precise in
contrast to his biological categorization.
5.
He has fostered several outstanding young minds, many of
whom have continued to be renowned thinkers of their own rights, including
Aristoxenus, Dicaearchus, Demetrius of Phalerum, Phocis, Nicomachus, and
Theophrastus.
